As I said before why not be clear about things and declare oneself as a believer or non believer. It's perfectly clear. I declare myself as a non-believer. That makes me an atheist. I lack belief in god. But that is not the same as saying that god does not exist, but merely that I lack belief (in my case due to the lack of evidence that any god or gods exist).
