frank ryan
I doubt China gives a toss about the Israel-Palastinian conflict. it's one of the world's most serious flashpoints, of course the chinese give a toss about it - they are also very close to it, a thousand miles or so, twice as close as us and many times closer than the US
JackLakeland
I despair at the world. We don't seem to have evolved much over the last 100 years.

frank ryan
whoops - about 3000 miles - but close all the same - UK slightly less at 2.3 thousand ., US 6.5 - apologies for lack of checking, no apologies for view that the middle east is well within china's area of interest

Balpin
not sure if that's sarcastic? if not -because they've lived there for thousands of years and it borders egypt and syria. if it is, because they've crossed thousands of miles to invade a far off country and colonize it. No, I would not joke about this situation. I am a hard left socialist, but in this case I support the Jews. I find no socialist agenda within Islam. It is the most fascist setup since Mussollini
Ian Dome
I condemn the US, Russia, and China for their sickening stances. But in this case, you should be backing the US, no? In other words, their stance is not always sickening, when their stance suit your agenda. In this case, the US wants a stop to the bloodshed. Does that sicken you? China and Russia are no surprise whatsoever. They're consistant i'll give them that. They don't want to get involved, it doesn't mean they'll fight to defend Syria. Rupert_Baehr
Im glad someones standing up to NATO, they do seem to be getting carried away. Is that a post which somehow got into the wrong thread, a deliberate non-sequitur, or do you have something to say? NATO has nothing to do with the UN, nor does it have anything to do with Syria.
