I have been in a relationship for 5 years but still think that Valentines day is a pointless day as I do not need a 'special' say to tell my BF I love him or to buy him something - - we often buy each other small gifts 'just because' The fact is you can buy cards from the dog/cat rabbit etc on valentines day which is ridiculous . . and i am sure there are more random cards out there Also i refuse to go for a meal on 14th feb as you have to generally book in advance whereas i could go for a nice romantic meal in the same place the day before/after and probably pay less too as a lot of restaurants jump on the 'meal for 2' offers which are usually more than the general menu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
