Strix
train maintenance is never booked to be 00:00 to avoid exactly this confusion, though technically a day STARTS at 00:00 and ends at 23:
PeteMorris
It would have been last night! IMO
joat36
First thing this morning 00:00, last thing at night 23:59(:59.....).
PAKS4
I think it's a bit late be asking this question! Why didn't you ask yesterday? You would have been miles away by now.
Leah-Lacie
00:00 Is when the date changes if you clock watch, so that would be today. Apparently, but I'm not sure how true, when you renew your car insurance, it is valid until 23.59 on the day the policy runs out, and doesn't get renewed until 00:01, and so if you crash at 00:00 you insurance is invalid

Due back at 23:59 on day of return ... Okay if you wish to renew online but impossible to return them physically.
HeadingNorth
Officially, 00:00 belongs to the following day, but it is avoided as much as possible for exactly this reason. The exact stroke of midnight is the instant in between the end of one day and the beginning of the next; the minute labelled 00:00 begins at that point. Rupert_Baehr
You wouldn't have a flight booked to leave at midnight. It would be scheduled for 2359 or 0001.
