Mercurian
There is nothing worse than going into a crowded bar and being "overlooked" by the staff when it comes to getting served. It appears that some people are "professional pusher inners" who take delight out of pushing in. We then have the "I am a regular and should be served first" pusher inner. Well....NO YOU SHOULD NOT....wait your turn! Why don't barpersons simply ask "Who is next please?" Or why don't the pubs put a bar up with an in and out entrance and exit? There was a girl in one of our local pubs who would always make a beeline to serve young good looking men. It was so obvious as I always got served first. But seriously, it can be a problem and rile people up. A bar would be a cheap and simple solution.

neeeeeeeeeek
They could use a ticket system like they do on the deli counter in crap supermarkets!
Mercurian
form a nice orderly queue. Some people would never form an orderly queue as they would not be able to push in! They have their beer goggles firmly affixed and will get their fix as soon as possible no matter how many people they push in front of.

dosxuk
Why don't barpersons simply ask "Who is next please?" Isn't that exactly what you are complaining about? The bar staff look to see who's next and the idiot waving the £50 note starts shouting "serve me".

Mercurian
Speaking to barstaff, waving your money about is likely to get you ignored. I am looking for a solution to stop people pushing in and prevent such people as you describe from getting served first.
