Nankypoo
When I was but a child my family moved to live at Hemsworth [Very posh at that time], and I was sent to Hemsworth School on Blackstock Road which was then fairly new. I can remember a great occasion when a statue of Haiwatha was unveiled in the garden, I beleived it was unveiled by the then Lord Mayor. I can remeber it clearly because my mum and dad got a posh invite with a gold Sheffield coat of arms at the top, and thought they had joined the elite. The reason for this post is has anyone any idea what happened to the statue when the school was demolished ?
