Is the Conservative Party full of homosexuals?

Recommended Posts

boris is at 4/10, ken 2/1 so boris is the clear bookies fav.

So Ken must know it's an uphill struggle and so is simply adopting the default position of charicaturing the Tories as "the nasty party".

When all else fails, string a few sentances together, just make sure it includes "nasty" and "tories".

Livingstone supported terrorist groups around the world. Not only that whilst mayor he used public money to produce propaganda against Trevor Phillips, which culminated in Livingstone saying that the head of the Commission for Racial Equality would 'soon be joining the BNP', which is a pretty revolting insult for a white politician to throw at a black man and one that makes a nonsense of his anti-racist postures.

which terrorists did he support? I remember his support for the ANC when the young tories were wearing 'hang nelson mandela' t shirts - and what 'support' do you mean - financial , personal, what? remember that one decades' terrorist is another decades' statesman (mandela, mc guinness, paisley)

ken didn't 'produce propaganda' against philips, he argued with him and his handling of the CRE that caused outrage in the black communities (that ken knew well cos he was 1st politician in the UK to engage with them).

ken has his fatal flaw - he uses intemperate language and that gives the right wing press ammunition, but he was the 1st to listen to, rather than preach at, gay, black and poor citizens of london.

the odds were similarly against boris when he won - ladbrokes were happy.

the tories are 'the nasty party' and boris is 'nasty' almost beyond comprehension , hopefully the cockneys will agree.

When he was a member of Workers' Revolutionary Party he accepted funding from Saddam at the time he was gassing the Kurds as well as from Gadaffi.

You should probably also look a bit deeper into his association with Gerry Healy

I think many Londoners remember last time that Livingstone was mayor. He was a founder of a group called Socialist Action which had no more than 100 members although that didn't stop around half a dozen being appointed by Red Ken to key jobs with salaries above £100K.

John Ross, Livingstone's economic adviser on £121,000, is typical. He was so lacking in economic knowledge that he decided that the Russian Communist party was a force for the future in 1991, two years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. His economic advice at the time was for the ruling class to learn 'that they will be killed if they do not allow a takeover by the working class'.

oh anna, ken wasn't in the (nutcase) WRP, he was the editor of labour herald which shared a printing works with newsline, the WRP paper - this is old old smearing - gadaffi and saddam hussein were traded with and funded by the UK and US - they were seen as preventing socialist/islamic expansion in the middle east, the gas used against the kurds was produced in the west.

you haven't said which 'terrorists' ken 'supported' or how.

PS gerry healey was a pervert who abused his position to grope naive (mostly middle class) moronic women who had fallen for his witless charm - the WRP was mainly made up of cultish professional assholes and the world is a better place without them.

Gay Labour MP Chris Bryant said the "faux outrage turns my stomach".

He said: "Of course 'riddled' is a pretty daft word, but if I were drawing up a list of the British politicians who have argued and fought for LGBT rights even when it was unpopular, it would include Labour figures like Chris Smith and Ken Livingstone - and Boris Johnson simply wouldn't feature.

"I fully understand that it was pretty miserable in the Tory party as a gay man until very recently and I am delighted that there are now out gay Tories, but we all know there were closeted gay MPs who voted hypocritically."

Another homophobic Tory bashing thread that the Mods should closed by now.

In what way is the thread homphobic?

Livingstone's interview to The New Statesman was denouncing the hypocrisy of some Tory MPs and their voting habits.

anna glypta (good name) probably thinks that chris bryant is a WRP member, terrorist supporting front for saddam's gold

What business is it of yours if someone is gay or not?

Does it stop them doing their job?

Would you vote for someone else if you found out someone was gay and not come out in pubic?

Would you vote for someone who voted in favour of anti-gay laws whilst being gay themselves?
