Number Six
I've been having a little look-see at some electric scooters. They're like normal scooters, but they run on batteries - the ones I've seen do 60 miles per charge, which costs about 10p, so they'd be ideal for commuting on. I reckon that the cost isn't much more than the extra calories I'd use walking. And of course I could always get a sneaky free charge at one of the many charging points in the city ... Anyway, my fear is that they'd be so slow up Sheffield's hills that I'd fall off! Any input much appreciated.

Number Six
Can you ride mopeds in the bus lanes in Sheffield? It seems it varies from place to place across the country.
