Hate preacher Anjem Choudary

Recommended Posts

Seems strange to release him early.

He is not being released early, he is being released on licence as is everybody who has served half of their sentence.

Being released on licence often means that conditions are imposed which if broken, means that the person can be recalled to prison at any time. It's a shame that he couldn't have stayed inside for another month as we might have had the prospect of Anjem Choudary and Wee Tommy Robinson on the same nonce wing in the same jail! :hihi:

Ahh, well with all those conditions and eyes on him I'm sure it wont be long before he's carted back in! Why are they on the nonce wing though?:suspect:

The police said he remains a threat and will have to live under strict conditions on release, we are told prison is not a punishment but it is there for rehabilitation ,seeing as he has obviously not been rehabilitated, isn't that a good reason for making him complete his imprisonment or extend it until he is.

Very dodgy ground that!

How do you know he hasn't been rehabilitated? You will only know that if he reoffends, in which case he'll be straight back in the big house under the terms of his licence.

Seems strange to release him early. If all the security measures are necessary logic suggests he's still a danger to the public.

um, isn't it more like that it is the public, that is the danger to him?

That is partially true.

For a period before he was locked up, there was a police presence outside his home in east London to prevent far-right protesters harassing his family. Police also had to pay to take his family into hiding after Lee Rigby was killed after threats were made to kill them.
