How Come The BNP Have Gone So Quiet? Are They Finished?

Recommended Posts

Can you blame them? We all want to save money, and their combined gas and electric tariff does seem reasonable.

That would explain the collapse in their share price.

The BNP's ooh so last year on the forum its the EDL the duckys have got their painted claws into now :D

The duckys? OK, sweetie. A glamrocker calling people for having painted claws seems a bit pot and kettle to me. By the way, what's your favourite glamrock song? Ballroom Blitzkrieg?

They are in a terrible position at the moment and it's not going to get any better in the next few months.

Areas that they were active in like Barnsley, Birmingham, Stoke, London ect are pretty much finished. The party structure has pretty much totally collapsed around the country and Griffin winning the leadership election by 9 votes is a pretty definitive guide to just how split how split the party are.

For the last couple of years there have been a very bitter and destructive civil war on Facebook and various forums that has been very entertaining to watch.

For a classic example do a search for Claudia Dalgleish.

Until Xmas she was one of Griffins main online attack dogs and posted some utter filth about people because they didn't share the dear leaders views and some people asked where the parties money had gone. Last Friday she turned on Griffin and the BNP in a pretty big way and now she is the one under attack.

You can read more about it here http://www.anti-fascists-online.com/2012/02/sex-texts-and-threats.html

Three organisers in Yorkshire have resigned over the last few weeks and moral is very very low. Quite simple there is nobody to replace them that Griffin can trust or who won't cause bad publicity.

Their National Organiser, Adam Walker is in court on Wednesday for driving his car at a bunch of kids and threatening them with a knife.

Sheffield hasn't had an organiser since Pont was sacked or resigned last summer and I can only see John Beatson standing for them in this years local elections.

The NF have picked up some members from the BNP, English Democrats a few others and some minor splinter groups like the British Freedom Party and Britain First have appeared but they seem to be more of an online threat than anything else.

Griffin isn't bothered. As long as he can keep a couple of thousand people paying 50 quid a year and some level of donations coming in he is happy enough. If he keeps it below 250k the party don't need to submit audited accounts to the Electoral Commission under the current rules as I understand it.

The EDL are not really in a much better position.
