Funny old world init! I was referring to the fact that the majority of people shown in the photographs linked to by the OP are almost certainly British. Oh, hang on - they did. In the year those photographs were taken: " 207,000 British citizens - one every three minutes - left the country while 510,000 foreigners arrived to stay for a year or more."
