Norseman
...sounds like Malcolm Bishops ? used to have a scrapyard during 70's -80's. Seems to have done well over the years !!!.... http://www.malcolmbishop.com/ The one where the council built the bypass which I think serves the mosborough townships from the parkway they cut through the land on which he had his scrap yard
poppins
I think undercover police cars in the US have wider wing mirrors, some will have a baby seat in the back
alchresearch
That was Malcolm Bishop who used to own Bishop car salvage, great bloke got lots of parts for my old cars from him until the bypass was built and the council forced him to close down. Nah, his yard was down the bottom of Orgreave Lane. No bypass there, just lots of opencasting. There was another scrappy down there too, but much smaller. dvp82
Was cycling down the Snake Pass this lunchtime, black transit van going some speed, no markings but flashing blue lights in grill and siren blasting out. Any ideas ?
Forumosaurus
There was a very odd SYF&RS car I saw today, all silver and totally unmarked asides from a SYF&RS emblem on it, it was blue and twoing near Meadowhall. If they fire service are going to be whizzing around in cars they should at least be more highly visible with livery.
RootsBooster
Really? Are you sure blue scotch-lite is illegal on non-police vehicles? I'd be surprised. Me too, I'm sure I've seen fire, rescue, emergency blood vehicles and those ambulance thingies with reflective blue on them all.
