Bilge
How common was the drinking on duty generally?
buddyboy1
Drinking on duty was common as the drinking and driving rules were not as strict as today and fortunatly very few accidents occurred also the draymen were a team of two ie the driver and the mate - it was the mates who could drink unrestricted
