spindrift
Aren't you a clever boy:rolleyes: Nothing naughty at all, it's not from the Guardian. Contributory factors seem about even and considering there are more cars than cycles makes the cyclist a bit of a pest. You are quoting a report that clearly states is not reliable to assign blame, in order to assign blame?

spindrift
No i'm quoting the contributory factors, cant you read. So, nothing to do with blame, as the report makes clear, so in no way a reliable counter to the properly researched evidence that DOES assign blame. Worthless, in other words. perplexed
because there are vastly less cyclists on the roads than motor vehicles , its obvious cyclists will have less fatal crashes. simple maths . Still dosnt make it right cyclists can freeload does it . If cyclists want the same rights as drivers on the roads - pay the same as drivers to have access to the roads.- insurance , licence , mot etc. Repeatedly saying something does not make it true you know... BritPat
what can we do about the price of fuel they just keep pushing up Blockade the fuel depots again and this time don't back down to Special Branch pressure that threatened some of the leaders last time round with being exposed as being in league with the 'Far Right'
esme
Mod Note Several posts containing personal insults have been deleted, I may have missed a few though, my apologies if I have. If you can't debate the issue without calling each other childish names, then the thread will be closed and all your carefully thought out arguments will slowly drop down the page and disappear for ever. spindrift
Blockade the fuel depots again and this time don't back down to Special Branch pressure that threatened some of the leaders last time round with being exposed as being in league with the 'Far Right' Nothing to do with Special Branch, the fuel protesters were a nasty bunch of thugs: "Extremist right-wing groups and individuals have infiltrated the fuel price movement and plan to be 'heavily involved' when the protests start again next week, an Observer investigation has revealed. Senior police fear that the presence of neo-Nazis among the protesters will lead to violence and attacks on officers." (Observer, 5/11/00). philip foste
Believe it or not there is a way to get stupid fuel prices down. All we need to do is boycott the two major oil companies ie BP and ESSO, fill up anywhere but these two and just watch what happens. These two giants will have no alternative than to reduce prices. ratter71
Yes, boycott esso and bp and fill up at sainsburys etc, that learn em, cos sainsburys etc have their own wells/refinarys etc and in no way are supplied by the oil companies
