Number Six Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 As I am, I suppose, the average Briton, no party does much for me. Every now and again I get to choose to vote for a) the party that thinks people are poor because being poor isn't unpleasant enough, so strives to make their existences more miserable to the point just before mass rioting breaks out - although they sometimes misjudge it a bit and b) a party that will happily squander billions of pounds we don't have on schemes of dubious benefit to anyone other than the people carrying them out In both scenarios the government ask me to pay for their 'plans' It's not a great surprise to me that most people try their best to ignore politics altogether and just get on with their lives as best they can.
