Or houseprices must fall 33%+ whilst wages remain static. It seems that houseprices shall stagnate and price-wage inflation spiral initiated with goods such as food will be used to cure the problem. 10p and 5p pieces are now minted in steel as copper is too valuable a metal to use for the UK currency. The BoE prints whenever there is a hint of inflation below 2%. 1p and 2p pre-92 copper coins have nearly been fully withdrawn from circulation and will soon become collector items.
