Chatterbox40
I used Higgingbottom and Lascelles. They did a good reasonable and swift job and other extras at a reasonable cost. I was not living at the property - in fact live a couple of hours away- so they had to get keys from agents etc and did a very good job! They were trustworthy and kind! 07976407723 is Dan the main guys number!
djfrase2
I have some patches of damp in my house and cannot work out where they are coming from. They are on the ground floor, but there is no obvious leak that is causing them. Can anyone recommend a damp proofing company who could give me a quote for investigation/remedial works? Thanks. samuk1000
I'm wondering what a competitive quote would be for damp proofing a house I just bought in Walkley by auction as a project. It passed the survey but surveyor recommended damp proofing as some paint peeling on ground floor due to rising damp in the walls. Can damp proofing cure this? Thanks. Gazza58
Surveyors seem to recommend a d.p.c for the sake of it,they dont really investigate too closely as to what the problem is. If it is rising damp then yes ,it can cure this.
samuk1000
Got any idea of what to expect for the quote? It's because the kitchen on the same property has received quotes from £600 to £1800++ for a refit, so I want to get a guide for what the market should be paying for DPC.
