neeeeeeeeeek
Having had a decent boiler fitted I plan to get my bathroom replaced. I have seen some Triton mixer showers in a half price sale, are they any good? My builder swears by Mira so has no experience of Triton ones but it's a pretty good offer... Well, would be if they are good! A Mira one with flow rate adjustment will cost £350-£400 and in the sale I can get a Triton one much cheaper.. Anyone ever installed or used them? Cheers
Bacon
Best on the market. They make all the shower units for Wickes own brand too.
Nodens
I've had a Triton Topaz t100i for ten years, it's been OK and, if you can get one half price

Tara Misu
Has anyone else had the same problem with Triton Showers that we have. We have had three Triton Showers over the last nine years, and each one has ended up having the same problem. The on/off switch is only plastic and where it engages on the back breaks, causing it not to turn on.
FORE
No, our problem was a reduction in power which resulted in lukewarm water. Replacement was unfortunately by another triton slightly different layout, so it wouldn't 'drop in' to the old fittings. Search for a good price they may not be too expensive. (Is I suppose for plastic bits!)
Tara Misu
Initially we replaced with another Triton as it dropped into the same plumbing. The second time, I contacted Triton who sold us another front including the knob(which was really the only thing we needed)at a cost of around £27.00. The third time we replaced with a different model Triton as we did not want to replace tiles etc. Yesterday morning the same thing happened. It is a small flimsy piece of plastic which clicks around to on and off and water settings. Very bad design, and must be an inherent fault. I have now written to them, and await their reply. There are only two retired people living in our house so it only has carefully daily usage. StuartB
Hi, I carry out handyman jobs for people and have fitted replacement parts for several showers ordered from websites which sell the spares, such as these : http://www.partmaster.co.uk http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk http://www.shower-spares.co.uk http://www.showerdoc.com What you need to ensure is the correct part number, and using an expanded view of all the bits is helpful Also when ordering a replacement for a part which breaks every so often, why not get two or three if the postage is the same
fabgirl
hi we recently had a problem with our triton shower and after investigating it we found out that triton guarantee their showers for 5 years. I called them and they came out 4 days later and repaired it free of charge.
