Tunisian cigarettes allowed in kid's luggage

Recommended Posts

There is a device known as a golulé. Its favoured amongst certain (but not all) groups of certain (but not all) persuasions who feel that "You can't beat the real thing'.

You could (if you really wished) go to such a place for your holiday and you might well find that you (and the well-lubricated arse of your small child) would be very welcome.

Are you outraged by this yet? - You should be!

You lot (who are more than ready to impose your own laws on outsiders) are now debating using children to smuggle tobacco into the UK?

Are you human? Which sort of humans use their young as bait?

I wouldn't personally do it, wouldn't dream of it, but OP has already thought about it. I've posted the official rule, that you must be aged over 17 - OP feels that maybe it would be ok as the baggage allowance would have been paid for by them, but no, as the rules say you must carry it yourself, so OP couldn't say the cigarettes were their's.

BUT, if OP wants to carry on and do as they are suggesting, they can take the chance, and they'll either get through (and their partner may well get through without using the children) customs with a lot of extra cigarettes, if they're lucky, OR, they will get caught, and have to pay the tax, or hand the extras over.

You'll hear loads of people saying they weren't checked at customs and brought 10,000 home, and you'll also hear the other side.

In 196r, a friend of mine (travelling into the UK from Kenya) was asked by the customs man on arrival at Heathrow: "Do you have anything to declare, Sir?"

He said: "Yes. 5000 bicycles."

An honest declaration.

"**** off, you tosser!" ( a typical Mancunian response at that time) was believed to be impossibly racial.

People were simply queueing up to go to Manchester.

Here's one for ya,

We are off to Tunisia this year, and as my partner is a smoker, he wants to bring home as many cigarettes as possible as they are so cheap.

Firstly, Tunisia is out of the EU so does the same '200 per person' rule apply?

Secondly, We have 3 kids with us. Could we put 200 in their cases too?

Is it 'per person' or 'per adult'?

Any help appreciated.

Serously?

You dont see anything wrong with that?
