Planetary conjunction tonight (25/02/12)

Recommended Posts

If anyone looks at the night sky tonight, we're being treated to a rare triple planetary conjunction. The crescent Moon, Venus and Jupiter are all very close together in the western sky (the planet closest to the Moon is Venus). You can't miss it.

Jupiter and Venus will also appear to move closer together over the coming weeks.

What a fantastic display

By the way, Mars is also visible in the Eastern sky.

And if anyone mentions it, no it's not the end of the world as shown at the beginning of that '2012' movie :hihi:
