Balpin
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17152413 This is a terrifying prospect. Where could it end? Science fiction and fact are becoming closer each day.

Bubble3082
This is a terrifying prospect. Where could it end? Science fiction and fact are becoming closer each day. I think if I were unable to have children then this would be a positive thing. Infertility can be soul-destroying, and a very hard thing to come to terms with. There aren't enough donating eggs (which is understandable as its invasive and can be risky) - this might be the answer to many couples prayers As long as we don't see 90 year olds pregnant I'm all for it
Balpin
Why terrifying? We could be talking battery farmed humans. Think of the long term. Humans with no parents.
andyofborg
Humans with no parents. given the quality of some parents, is that such a bad thing?
tinfoilhat
No, it's a great idea, just what the planet needs. More people.
andyofborg
Humans with no parents. more seriously, there would still be a need for sperm to fertilise the eggs and indeed a female to carry the embryo or perhaps an axlotl tank...... http://dune.wikia.com/wiki/Axlotl_Tanks
Redyam
Do you realise that every man creates billions of sperm every day? That's close enough to unlimited. I don't see how a women doing the same would change anything.
Murphy Jnr
Why is it that we feel it's so necessary for every woman to be able to have kids. There's a reason why they can't and it should be left alone devastating or not.
