shane39
So all smokers live in upper floor flats do they?? Yes! Every single one of them....FACT!
SnailyBoy
Very nice graph. Experts can say what what they want. Your telling me that all the youths that knock about on the streets smoking and spewing kids out like it's an Olympic sport are going to persuade their kids to stop smoking when they grow up?? There is no amount of research that your so called experts can do to prove that Britain will be smoke free in 40 years. People have smoked for hundreds and thousands of years. There's no way this country will be smoke free any time in the future, even if smoking was banned completely. Its laughable to think otherwise. 1560 could be considered the year tobacco was introduced. The introduction to a mass market was around the time of the 1st World War. Hardly thousands of years ago

Bonzo77
Is there any evidence to support this statement? Watch tribe with Bruce Parry. Every tribe he visited smoked. Tobacco was the currency used by some of them.

Hardly thousands of years ago "The history of smoking can be dated to as early as 5000 BC, and has been recorded in many different cultures across the world." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking And yet "passive smoking" was only invented by the anti-smoking lobby around 10 years ago! eckerslike
And yet "passive smoking" was only invented by the anti-smoking lobby around 10 years ago! If you are going to correct people... To be accurate passive smoking has been around exactly the same length of time as smoking, but health organisations (not the anti-smoking lobby) only presented conclusive evidence of the harm it was doing to no smokers a decade or so ago.
