Waldo Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Will be getting a car soon. I haven't had my own car insurance for quite some time, like 10 years, or so. I have however, been a named driver on other peoples' policies. What's my situation re: my no-claims-discount? Will I have to start again? Is there anyway I can check my current NCD with the insurance companies? Also, is there a quick way for me to work out what my premium is likely to come to, based on a cars' insurance group and also my age and location. HDious Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Everyone's insurance is different, so you'll only get a price from insurers, as for NCB you could always phone your current insurer if they will honour what you've built up, some do but unfortunately some don't.
