Hairyloon
Instead of all this constant bickering and name calling, why don't we hold a formal public meeting (on-line if it is easier), debate it properly and put it to the vote?
Conrod
As usual with these threads about illegal drug use, the Forum's drug-using criminals come out and defend the rights of other drug-using criminals to commit crime. Good on the judge - there should be longer sentencing for all drugs offenses, and if that means spending to build a lot more prisons, so be it. Halibut
Yep they reckon it makes a genius more of a genius and a idiot a bigger idiot. Lennon was a genius they are like hens teeth, the others are not. Which others? The other Beatles? Or are you referring to other outstanding musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Joe Strummer, David Bowie, Kurt Cobain and so on? And the Forum's kneejerking stormtroopers of oppression come barking and frothing in their support for an unjust law which creates a huge and uneccesary amount of suffering and imposes a huge and uneccesary burden on the police and prison service. Frank Sidney
Whether or not you are for against of smoking/eating cannabis its plain to see that the current system is a waste of time because it doesn't work. Surely the police would be better occupied in chasing real criminals rather than a bloke with a plant in a loft...

If cars didn't exist then the traffic police wouldn't be burdened.
Phanerothyme
Let's not forget the millions of diligent drug users that bailed out the banks four years ago.
