Mercenary
I've been tracking a parcel that is being delivered to my house by DPD today. I called them to say no-one would be in and to either post it (if it fits) or leave it with a neighbour if one was in. The online status has just been changed to: Your parcel has been delivered, signed for by POSTED, on 09 Mar 2012 at 12:41 Anyone had this before with DPD? Does the 'POSTED' bit mean that it has literally been posted to my house?
truman
Maybe posted through your letter box ( if it'll fit) ... ?
HeadingNorth
I've never seen it before, but that is the logical conclusion. Unless, of course, you are posting this thread from at home and the parcel isn't there...
Mercenary
Maybe posted through your letter box ( if it'll fit) ... ? That's what I was thinking, that the delivery guy just signed it himself and posted it. Hope so anyway.

Mercenary
Just had a look at some other people's status' on the DPD tracking site (it isn't very secure!) and lots have been signed for by people with real names. So unless my neighbour's surname is actually POSTED then I think it should be on my doormat when I get in.
alchresearch
That reminds me, the postman knocked on my door this morning, he said "Is this letter for you, the names smudged" I said "Sorry mate,my name's Smith". And on that note I bid you all a good weekend!
