No New York Dolls on that but there is a Mott track. The Clash were massive Mott fans and came on stage to, I think, All The Way To Memphis when they played the Top Rank in 78.

its more the uk glam than us :P

Glam rock introduced a whole generation of men and boys to the notion that men could wear make up, dress outrageously, and adopt a more feminine style.

Things had already shifted a great deal by the time Boy George turned up.

Like I said they were laughing at themselves they didnt do it to make any statement,maybe the Forum and indeed the world in general would be a better place if everyone stood back and had a little giggle at themselves,you never know you might like yourselves a little more.

Anyway I think you may find boy George in his previous guise of Lieutenant Lush preceded Buster when a member of Bow Wow wow

he was in bow wow wow???

thought that was anabel and the old members of adam and the ants??

knew Jon moss (the drummer of culture club) was in 1977 punk band London
