Chris_Sleeps
seriously divorce laws would have to be changed don't you think? Sure. Same-sex marriage will create a confetti shortage too, and we'll have to import sub-standard mexican confetti, which'll escape and drive out our native species. Gays marrying will cause the world economy to collapse, because they'll all want bigger dresses than Elton John going to the Brit awards.

rickiethecat
So, in conclusion, almost 1,000 posts and not one compelling reason or argument as to why gay marriage should not be permitted. Just one - that gay marriage is morally wrong. The government might be able to make it legally right but it can never be morally right.

Changed to what? there are the same legal rights and means to dissolve a same-sex marriage as a straight marriage.

Mister M
Perhaps the church and the 'moral' majority would be happier if gay men and women shagged about much more, then at least the moralisers could feel righteous and smug about condemning the 'promiscuous gays'. The irony is of course that in the late 1980s when some high profile gay people started battling for the right to have marraiges, more radically minded gays criticised them for being 'sell outs'. janie48
Talk us through the thought process that led you to this conclusion. Do you seriously wish the poster to do this? That would require quoting references from the bible. What would be the point of referring to a collection of books to people who don't believe any of it,or wish to hear. It would just just a waste of time for the poster.
