altus
NO. Can we call fly fishing and sea fishing the same ? They are still both fishing. In the case of marriage, it would be straight marriage and gay marriage.
harvey19
The Home Office's Equal Civil Marriage Consultation page. So you can all see what it is that is actually being proposed and send you views about it to the government. So does the debate now change to, Why can homosexual couples enter into a civil marriage or civil partnership when the civil partnership is not available for hetrosexual couples. All those who have been moaning about homophobia and discrimination please explain.
harvey19
No. Because they are different. If all that is different is the type of fish caught, but the method of catching them is the same, is this still a different sort of fishing? Should fishing be banned as a cruel sport ? Stomp
Should fishing be banned as a cruel sport ? I think a consutative excersize should be undertaken with the fish to answer that question.
Cyclone
Wrong again as explained many times. No, I've given you the definition of discrimination several times now, you can keep believing that what you are supporting isn't discrimination, but that's just self delusion. harvey19
Because it's different. My point all the way through and now things are the other way round it may be recognised that I was right all the way through this debate. I say good luck to homosexual couples whichever union they choose and I will not complain that they have a choice over hetrosexuals or Lord forbid accuse society of discrimination or homophobia against hetrosexuals. Live and let live.

They can choose.

You are wrongly assuming that we support the government's position on civil partnerships.
