Was a strange time for the awards to be given out. Think nominations now and awards at the end but seems to be the way things work now.

As for Wednesday, Semedo has to take it although I think Batth has been a consistent performer and would like Wednesday to sign him. Doubtful though with Wolves looking likely for the drop.

I think for the sheer volume of games played & consistency there can only be 2 candidates,Semedo & Batth.I'll give it Semedo.the engine that kids got is unbelievable,he just never stops, hunting the ball down, leaving bodies all over the pitch in his wake.He must be an absolute nightmare to play against.

Even though he now plays for Leicester, Ben Marshall is the main reason we are where we are and challenging for promotion, so in my book, that makes him the player of the season for me....At this early stage that is. It could change, and giving player awards out with almost 1/4 of the season left is barmy.
