Miliband too ill for NHS rally but OK for freebie at football match.

Recommended Posts

He wasn't in the crowds, but in an enclosed box.

From a contagion point of view, that wouldn't expose very many people. From a not-feeling-well point of view, two hours in a nice warm box is not going to do him any harm, but two hours in the open air might well have done if the weather had turned bad.

All of this, of course, is completely irrelevant if it is true that he only ill on Friday, and had recovered by Saturday.

It doesn't look much like an enclosed box to me.

Perhaps he wanted to pass on a deadly plague to the diectors so that they could pass it on to the team.

Isn't it odd that he claims that he felt ill on Friday and chose to cancel one event but kept his options open for the other?

Here we go, more of "new labour". When its given a chance to show its allegiance with the working class it coughs and sneezes and cries off. In a pathetic attempt to align itself with the middle of the road voters that swing in a general election and any movement that is a few degrees off centre is given the cold shoulder. His own constituents are being shafted by the local council and he remains silent and absent...lets see if he resurfaces when the he wants their vote at the next election!!!!

Labour are unelectable without a good chunk of the middle class vote. He knows it but his supporters don't. Minibland can't afford to be seen to be too close to the loony left. Making Labour electable outside a few nineteenth century enclaves like South Yorkshire is an impossible job.

Be fair to the man, he is in a completely thankless job, with no hope whatsoever in attaining his ambition of becoming Prime Minister, he is a figure of fun (just think what Spitting Image would have done to him!)

He has the choice of joining a load of moaning whinging spongers to talk rubbish for a while or go and watch a bit of footie and a buffet with a drop of red.

What would you do?

I was apologising for bringing up the subject of fascism in another context, not correctly indentifying those who sought to ruin Eds Saturday.

Mind you it shows how desperate Miliband is to kiss ass when he's prepared to go and watch Hull City play.
