Lotti Posted March 16, 2012 Share Posted March 16, 2012 You've had some great replies on here so I'm not going to go into anything in length (I'm tired and just about to log off!) but to anyone reading, pinning your dog to the ground will not teach it who is boss and it CAN harm them - mentally/emotionally even if not physically. Well socialised dogs exhibiting normal dog behaviour DO NOT pin each other. One may well roll over whilst the other straddles it, and it may look like it is pinning it but no contact is being made to hold the dog down. It's a very outdated method that will do you no good.
