Supertramp
If it's not signatory to the NPT then in what way is it illegal? Touche!! It's still extremely hypocritical.
Phanerothyme
If it's not signatory to the NPT then in what way is it illegal? They're not illegal. They're clandestine. Israel even point blank refused admission to the IAEA three years ago. Something no other nuclear state has done (AFAIK).
Ian Dome
As for illegal nuclear sites, Israel's is far more illegal Israel on the other hand refuses to sign up to the NPT and does not allow inspections. so its not illegal then
Phanerothyme
Nope. Not that it matters either way to Israel anyway.

No doubt they will be in touch shortly for further advice on what to do about the Israeli nuclear weapons program.
callippo
carry on ignoring the fundamental point if you want. the Turks, Egyptians, the Saudis and the other Gulf states, weren't all that bothered about Israel getting nuclear weapons 40 years ago. They might have been a bit annoyed about it because it looked to them that it looked like Israel was so far ahead of them in the technology, but they didn't see it as any mortal threat. when Saddam was developing nuclear weapons, Israel took the country of which he has a dictator of, Iraq, out. they totally destroyed Saddam's and Iraq's nuclear capability, to the delight of the Iranians, who had tried to carried this task out before, and failed. but now the tables have changed over and here in 2012, it's the Arabs and also the Turks, who see that it's not Israel, but Iran and the Shia Persians as the mortal threat. hard2miss
Who cares, nuke em. And I wonder why you think Iran may wish to build a nuclear bomb Yes, lets stop a nuclear war by starting one, that's the problem with Israel in my opinion, they think everyone is out to get them so get everyone else without the right amount provocation. The world is a different place from 1939, accept it and move on.
