Mrs Overall
Spend as much time with young people as you can. Keep working. Ive had various joints replaced, and some in waiting, the only place i dont have OA is my elbows.. Ive two grandsons, ones 5 and gorgeous, the other ones 15, say no more... Ive got some good friends, so im not lonely, just grumpy sometimes, i just seem to be seeing a lot of oldies looking miserable now, maybe they're lonely who knows.. Maybe because im getting older, i notice them more...
Mr Soft
Once we have learned to smile in the face of adversity, we have a sense of humour. Not until.

Solomon1
I'm in my mid sixties, I don't seem to laugh as much as I used to do, I am disabled with Athritis, but I think about 5 yrs ago I laughed a lot more. I see people my age walking about looking so glum, someone can say something quite funny but all you get is a faint smile, more like a grimace sometime... Are we turning into a set of miserable old b...ers just because we're getting ready for off.. it's like anything else in life... if you don't use it, you lose it dear! start practising smiling again....those facial muscles need toning.... might be best done on your own to begin with....till you're brave enough to do it in public

lyndyloo
Amen to that brother Harleyman And don't forget: Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the bright side of life Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad Other things just make you swear and curse When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble give a whistle This will help things turn out for the best Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the right side of life If life seems jolly rotten, there's something you've forgotten And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing When you're feeling in the dumps, don't be silly, chumps Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing So, always look on the bright side of death Just before you draw your terminal breath Life's a counterfeit and when you look at it Life's a laugh and death's the joke, it's true You see, it's all a show, keep them laughing as you go Just remember the last laugh is on you Always look on the bright side of life And always look on the right side of life Always look on the bright side of life And always look on the right side of life And then there's always this old standard: All Together now:thumbsup::thumbsup:
