Guardian/Mixmag drugs survey

Recommended Posts

The other drug thread seems to have gone off on a bit of a tangent so I though it was worth starting a new thread for this. Some people might find it interesting.

Conducted by Global Drug Survey, we wanted to know which drugs people take, how often and why. The survey of 15,500 people studied a wide range of illict and legal substances, from alcohol and cannabis to cocaine and MDMA - as well as newer drugs such as mephedrone and synthetic cannabis. These are the results.

I was watching the news recently and an article about corruption in government, police and such in Afghanistan and how it was linked to heroin addiction, it made me think, what would it really be like if all 'physically addictive' drugs were legalised, TBH I don't think the system would be working very well... worse than it is anyway!
