I have managed to get hold of them via email now don't think il be going there as they want a £1000 to join anyone no any other ski clubs locally

yeah I wanted to test a glastron there the prices was stupid found them to be like a little clicky club where you dont fit in as a new member ...

 

I know you can engine/boat test at rother valley in mornings realy cheap but only for about a hour . not sure how they stand on sking ? but found them to be great price wise ect be worth give them a call or email to ask .

Engine testing

Power boat owners have use of the main Watersports lake every morning between 9.00-10.00 subject to other events on the water.

 

The engine testing session is an opportunity for members of the public check over their boats on safe sheltered water before heading to the coast.

 

If your boat is recently out of storage or has undergone maintenance work then this is the perfect chance to get afloat and run your craft.

 

Proof of 3rd party insurance is required, so please check in at the Centre before launching. Spaces are limited each morning so please call and speak to a member of staff to book in your session.

I have bought a boat it's a glastron lol had it on rother valley last weekend think il just have to tow it to Skegness for the day

for the day cleathorpes can be a better/faster drive ...but cheack out where you can and can not launch council slpways/launch you may have to pre book in and make a payment .

try looking around on the map for free slipways in to the humber ect can some times save money and time

also another great place just to plod up and down and engine test is on the trent

dont use the marinas way over priced .

launch here at farndon boat house pub free slipway -car park and its a pub that serves food what more could you want.
