Is there anything else what could be used instead of tiles? Something like corian ( but thats too expensive) Has anyone got any ideas please. Sam @ Dearne
Wet walling is an alternative, there are several types of differing qualities, some thin plastic, some with 9mm marine ply on the back. One thing to bear in mind is that the paneling will need to be installed behind the shower enclosure, so this will have to be taken off and re-fitted after. Also any shower valve, riser rail etc... The thin plastic ones can be easy to install, whereas the ply backed ones can be quite tricky as they are rather large and heavy.
shazzybabe
We used some panels specially made for the job. Can't remember where we got them from but just do a google search for shower panels and something should come up

Liose
http://www.showerright.co.uk/Kubex_shower_cubicles.htm These are brilliant (not necessarily this brand - other brands too) - we have one and it's superb - easy installation - clean looking all the time and no leaks...
