mrnmrswild Posted March 16, 2012 Share Posted March 16, 2012 Hi Wanting some help on wedding venues in Rotherham we live in West Melton and were due to get married in May 2013 yes a year away but because im new round here i havent got the slightest clue on where to look, Were getting married in Brampton Church hoping for a late wedding and then onto a venue for disco and buffet but i dont want it to be cheap and tacky can anyone help ? Starfish2 Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 Hi Have you considered Whiston Manorial barn? It's the other side of Rotherham but it's worth a look. It's a lovely old barn. They reckon they can accommodate 120 for a sit down meal and more for a buffet. I think 120 may be pushing it for a sit down meal. The barn was taken over by two women late last year. They are very friendly and it still seems fairly good value compared to some other places. They are also very flexible with food-happy to adapt to individual costs and preferences. You have to use their DJ which put us off because we have a friend who has offered to DJ. I can't help other than that I'm afraid. All the other places we looked at were in Sheffield.
