saunaman
Is it just me , or has today's media coverage of the Health and Social Care Bill been quiet to say the least ? It went to the House of Lords but what did BBC's Parliament channel screen ? The empty House of Commons ( presumably they were all watching House of Lords in the bar ! When they need their liver transplant they'll wish they had paid more attention . ) Ditto Sky . The media is scarily quiet on such an important issue , when are the Government going to provide us with the NHS risk register ?
Anna B
Well that would probably be because their decisions are not popular, and the less you know about the details the better. It's always the way of it. The government feeds us nothing but propoganda via a very biased media.
ECCOnoob
I thought an emergency debate had been granted and reforms discussions had been put on hold? That's what was being broadcast around 4.00??
muddycoffee
Just heard that the Lords has passed it and it is back in the commons tommorrow.Maybe when it is in the commons we will hear more about it. However, the saga has been going on so long that I wonder if the newsworthiness has gone away.
