cybil
I have been researching my family and have hit a dead end. One of my ancestors that i need to trace has his place of birth down as Sumby Thicks on the 1881 census. I believe he was from the North east looking at where some of the children were born back this up. I think it may be sunderland Bridge but i cann't find anything there for him. So has anyone heard of Sumby Thicks?
