rosaespanola
dont bite:) No biting here, I'm just amused that my theory about Malin Bridge only being about 3 streets is obviously true, if people reckon it's that easy to work out which street I'm on based on what I've said
rosaespanola
We live 70 yards from Malin Bridge primary and we are classed as Hillsborough 70 yards in which direction though - up, down or along?

rosaespanola
Yeah, I thought Oakland Road was the boundary in that direction. I know Meredith Road is classed as Malin Bridge as I have a friend who used to live on there.
rosaespanola
How about Findon Street, is that still Malin Bridge or Hillsborough/Wisewood? Am I right in thinking Dykes Lane & Findon Road are both classed as Wisewood? And what about roads like Bankfield Road or Hibberd Place that are down towards the tram stop, but the other side of Dykes Lane? (I'm getting a bit obsessed now, sorry ;-))

gnvqsos
Wadsley bridge? I said implies which leaves scope for error, and Wadsley Bridge is a misnomer anyway like the larger area Hillsborough based on an Irish castle.
gnvqsos
Malin Bridge is the area, not just the bridge! Also, can you not have waterways running down a hill? I also thought they ran uphill and flowed down.
