I think that the Queen has done more for this country than you have and maybe she probably wouldn't like you either but there again she accepts all crappy people as her subjects. Ugh, whenever I hear the word "subjects" I can't help but cringe. I live in the 21st century, why am I still subservient to a decadent tradition from a bygone era? I imagine they could keep on doing that whilst not siphoning funds from the public. Besides, I don't think tourists actually get to see the royal family do they? It's just the buildings and museums they come to visit. Maybe if we put the royals in the museum they belong we'd get a surge in tourism. When he and his wife died, leaving no heirs, a German aristocrat from Hanover (who never learnt English) was invited to come and be King - from whom Liz is descended. The line of Georges were a real dribbling mess. Later Victoria married a german. To quote Blackadder: "I'm as British as Queen Victoria!" "So your father's German, you're half German and you married a German?". The House of Saxe-Cobourg and Gotha was rebranded during the First World War to appear "more British".
