Who, in Gods name, sanctioned the design for the Team GB 2012 Olympic kit ..... :huh::rant::huh: ?????

Is Stella McCartney colour blind ????

A... BLUE ???...Union flag :rant::suspect::rant:

C'mon for heavens sake ...if there was ever an event where we should fly AND wear our national colours with pride ......surely the 2012 'London' Olympic Games should top that list ??

It's less blue than our kit in 1996 and 2000. Stella McCartney wanted a kit that would stand out from the other nations that use red white and blue, maybe it'll work, or maybe it wont. One thing is for sure though, it's not really an issue big enough to get wound up about.

Of course it should. And it does; the kit comprises red, white and blue.

I'm guessing the real rant here (in general that is; not specifically from the OP) is from people who associate the blue bits with Scotland and think this is an anti-English outfit. It's amazing how xenophobic some people can be about the most ridiculously trivial of things.

I wonder if the same people felt outraged when the kit was mainly white?

You cannot ...and should not (especially on a silly fashion whim )...change the National colours of our Union Flag ...a massive part of our history ...which, during such a high profile event as the Olympic Games ....will be scrutinised by millions around the world over the next few months.

No need to be outraged when the kit was mainly white though was there ? The Union Flag wasn't a predominant feature in that design .:roll:

The kit looks alright if you ask me. If you want to be outraged about something then it should probably be the 20billion quid wasted on this pointless event.
