retrogo
Hi guys, Regarding the 'un-announcement' of Hallam FM. We wanted everyone to know that Hallam FM would not be taking part this year because they have been present during the last 3 years and we know people expect their involvement. This was a joint decision based on safety in the city centre, particularly safety of the younger Tramlines attendees. The main stage on Saturday is now being programmed by Tramlines and includes Ms. Dynamite and Roots Manuva. We are supporting the new event, 'Sheftival' taking place on August 4th and 5th at Don Valley. This event will have a pop line-up that you won't find at Tramlines. Hope this clears up any questions! Nah, we don't want chav FM involved with the live music scene. Let them carry on playing the top 40 and leave the proper music alone.
NatureBoy
Average line up to be fair, not the best theres been. Ive been to every Tramlines so far and can only hope there is someone the organisers are saving as a wildcard to make it better.
metalman
I want to go to the Folk thing in Endcliffe Park to see the exceptional Mary Hampton. What I've failed to find so far on the tramlines website is what time it actually starts, and whether there's any sort of indication of running order, estimated times when people might play, and so on. Is that info available anywhere or not?

metalman
Mmm, well, I saw that. But is it actually the running order, or is it just a list of who's playing? And how can you work backwards from 10 pm if you don't know how long each act gets? Edit: even some sort of start time would be good, so you could catch the lot. daisy-rascal
(for full details + updates please visit http://www.facebook.com/events/130119653794864/ ) Every year at Tramlines I wish the city could be that full of music full time. It doesn't seem to happen so we DLS folk will try and make it last as long as possible with another marathon party until 8am spanning the whole complex. Food, chill areas, several bars and a host of Sheffield's best dance music crews, DJs and producers over five rooms. Many a famous face has strutted their stuff on our DLS stages since last years Tramlines but it's a massive buzz to be able to show everyone what we've got knocking around right here on our doorsteps. Last years party was so popular we couldn't let everyone in so don't hang about getting down after your sun drenched afternoon in the city centre! Helping us pull off Tramlines biggest after party this year are: Our own Collect! (with Faction buddies Cargo and Drumroll), Itchy Pig Records, Bad Taste Records, Delve Deeper, Feedback, Displaced, Jayney's Jackshack, a live performance from Burleskimo and powered by the fearsome Danger Noise Audio, 20hz Soundsystem and Greenhouse Projects Function 1. Chill area by Khacha Puri cafe and food outlets tba. Party For The People will once again be adorning you all with stickers and sticky vodka jellies in the hope you will assist them to raise money for children's charities.
