jenny7
Species constantly evolve to become more efficient. It may not be "nature" as stated, but the species that come from nature constantly make changes to their genetic make up. Species always strive to improve. That's why I say the gay gene is not as intended because it makes the recipient less likely to continue the line. My initial calling this a "flaw" was probably a bad description.. It's common throughout mammals and has been present as long as we have recorded history, so it's clearly not a sub-optimal mutation or it would have been bred out. Amongst other animals the behaviour is less consistent though, ie they're what we would describe as bi-sexual, hence they still pass on their genes. It's amusing how some bring themselves down to the level of animals, they do it so it must be ok.

We get old and die. We grow strong, we grow weak. We're animals.

Who's to say it isn't very gradually being bred out. You don't know that, neither do I. Unless there is some data that shows the percentage of bi sexual Long Toothed Tigers in comparison to the modern Tiger?

It's telling how you see thinking of humans as animals is 'bringing themselves down'. We are animals, just with bigger and more complex brains. Orphee
A telling detail of these debates is how they focus on men so much. Female homosexual behaviour seems almost invisible at times.
