*_ash_*
Quick question. 11 Guineas in 1927. What is 2012 price? I think a Guinea was a pound and a shilling (240+12?), but that doesn't help me. I've looked at some sites and can't find one that helps me.
Strix
a guinea is £1.05 in new money - does that help at all? if not, try this out: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/currency/

Hopman
11 Guineas in 1927. What is 2012 price? 11 Guineas= 11 pounds plus 11 shillings. Since a shilling converted to 5p, that would be 55 pence so: £11-
