I can only presume it is to do with the direction that the speakers are fixed or something strange like that. Sound travels strangely apparently. Either that or you are a very heavy sleeper. Paddy Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 The rave music that people on the Manor , Wincobank and Darnall areas heard is coming from a small plot of land behind Don Valley Stadium next to the canal. It's there every couple of months throughout the spring & summer. Tuffty Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 I live at least 1.5 miles away from this location and my windows vibrate and the walls outside my house sound as though someone is hammering on them, I live a lot closer than that and have never heard any noise disturbance.
