Aleksandr
Would a secret demonstration that nobody knew about be any use whatsoever?Oh, I get it. You think that if a group of people secretly arrange a demonstration, no one will see it. The way it works andygardner, is that once the demonstration starts, it's no longer a secret. In fact, the media can be informed that it's about to happen, and they can get there to broadcast the demonstration to the entire world before the security forces turn up. Do you understand now? Just because the demonstration has been arranged in secret, doesn't mean that it has to be held in secret! I'm not sure why you didn't understand; I bet most people would have just assumed that. You seem to confusing a demonstration, legal and organised publically because they want as many people as possible to turn up, with illegal direct action publicity stunts. The former are not organised covertly, it would defeat the object. The latter are already illegal if not criminally then civilly so yes they are organised covertly. Please feel free to provide details of any legal demonstrations that were organised secretly, I can't think of any. Even the occupy fiasco was done with prior public planning. This still isn't a good example of something that is currently legal, that could unfairly/wrongly be made illegal if a government agency happened upon it whilst monitoring a phone call or intercepting an email. rawsonator
the internet snooping law is a good way of catching certain criminals (fraudsters, child porn, peadophiles etc etc) but at the same time its a violation of privacy i dont want my private emails been read by sombody else but at the same time i would rather have criminals caught and locked up so its a tricky one for me
rawsonator
its a tricky one i think more people will be caught using this but its still a violation of privacy and like mj said it will be easily hacked, leaked and misused.
mafya
I have a mobile internet dongle not registered to anyone and if I put a pay as you go sim card in it and use on a clean computer using a vpn/proxy server how exactly will this snooping law catch me? It is just an excuse to snoop on people, the criminals will get round it but it's normal people who will be snooped on.
