Renaissance in chalk

Texas

Recommended Posts

While out walking the dog the other day there was this little kid, couldn't have been anymore than 10years old, chalking a swastika on the pavement. A swastika! In chalk! It brought back childhood memories for me. When I was that age in the early 40's a chalked swastika was the first thing you thought of if you were into street art. I wonder where he got the idea from. He was too young to be a member of the BNP, and I didn't ask him, it's dodgy talking to any little kids nowadays for various reasons. I'm going to keep my eyes open though, it'll be Mr Chad anyday soon. I like to think that spray paint is going out and chalk is making a comeback.
