Sometimes they're not even proper students, they're more often than not ringers who've been brought in to do a phony postgrad course and a bit of rowing. One of the Oxford crew was bleating about 7 years of hard work and trials and effort being wasted - I thought you went to University to study and get a degree, all the social stuff and messing about on water is a sideline.
