horribleblob
The guy was privately educated... Likely to be his parents' decision, not his. ...and then went to the London School of Economics. He is now protesting against elitism and is an 'anti capitalist' ... Why would that be surprising? "LSE has a rich history of political activism and campaigning" I hear the most militant anti-smokers were once smokers themselves.

ab6262
Its not a national tradition at all, its an "Oxbridge" tradition that gets televised for some reason. of course its a national tradition just like the grand national , and the FA cup in the context that the vast majority enjoy it for what it is an event which has national focus once a year. stop trying to make out its some elite club that you dont like! John Dory
Could it be argued that those in the boats were interrupting his swim. After reading this, http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/oct/26/weils-disease-andy-holmes I think he'd be better off going down to the local pool for a swim.
